Simulated turbulent V-flame

The Center for Computational Sciences and
Engineering (CCSE) develops and applies advanced computational
methodologies to solve large-scale scientific and engineering problems
arising in the Department of Energy (DOE) mission areas involving
energy, environmental, and industrial technology. Our primary focus
is in the application of hierarchical, structured-grid finite
differences for compressible, incompressible and low Mach number
flows. Current applications involve low Mach number flows, such as
those found in laboratory combustion experiments, and in nuclear
flames in Type Ia supernovae.
